    The Science of Success

"The day will come when the man at the telephone will be able to see the distant person to whom he is speaking", was the statement that Alexander Graham Bell, the man who was credited with the invention of the telephone, made more than a hundred years before Skype came to existence! And like most scientists or inventors, Bell believed that success and great achievements arrive only after a series of trials and errors.

So for our dose of motivation this time, we came up with a collection of quotes from the greatest minds of science. See what these scientists' thoughts on hard work, failure and success were.

"He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind" -Leonardo da Vinci.

"Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it" -Stephen Hawking.

"An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made, in a narrow field- "Niels Bohr.

"The Sun, with all the planets revolving around it, and depending on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as though it had nothing else in the Universe to do" -Galileo Galilei.

"One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done" -Marie Curie.

"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work" -Thomas A. Edison.

"Before anything else, preparation is the key to success" -Alexander Graham Bell.

"Anybody who has been seriously engaged in scientific work of any kind realizes that over the entrance to the gates of the temple of science are written the words: 'Ye must have faith'" -Max Planck.

"Money does not represent such a value as men have placed upon it. All my money has been invested into experiments with which I have made new discoveries enabling mankind to have a little easier life" -Nikola Tesla.

"But still try, for who knows what is possible" -Michael Faraday.

"I was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy" -Marie Curie.
