    There's an App for That

Most of us lead a quick and busy lifestyle nowadays, and with the emergence of computers and internet, our reliance on technology increased drastically.  Laptops and cellphones came to existence mainly because desktop computers and land-line telephones were immobile, and with the introduction of internet and more specifically WIFI, the two were mashed to form smartphones and tablets.

The purpose of this mash-up is for people to be able to find information easier, take pictures, record videos and communicate on-the-go, using an all-in-one device that fits in their pockets. According to Webopedia, mobile apps are basically programs that run on smartphones and other mobile devices. These apps are always undergoing updates and modifications, but the only thing that stays constant is that they're designed to make normal tasks easier and more fun. We have chosen 5 of those apps to share with you, starting with:

    1.  Evernote

This app is a synonym for the word "useful"! Think of it as a stack of post-it notes; whether you're at class, at a conference or even hanging around the house watching TV, Evernote helps you organize your life by enabling you to create, edit, sync and share notes and to-do lists. You can also record audio notes, add picture notes, save important webpages and even post these notes on Facebook and Twitter.

    2.  Mint.com Personal Finance

By downloading this app, you'll be able to track all your expanses, big or small, to the last dime. Mint.com notifies you about upcoming bills, monitors your cash flow and categorize transactions.

    3.  Yahoo! Weather

What makes this weather app stand out from all the others is that it uses fantastic images from Flickr that match your location, time of day and weather condition, to show you accurate forecasts around the world.

    4.  MyFitnessPal

With over 3,000,000 foods in its database, MyFitnessPal is designed to keep track of your daily calorie intake and exercise routine to help you lead a healthier life.

    5.  Genius Scan

This app re-purposes your smatphone or tablet to become a pocket-sized scanner, in order to help you get rid of some paper, save an important memo, send a business card information to the office...etc. You can also export shared scans send them via email as PDF or JPEG files.

Do you have an app that you can't live without? Let us know what it is in the comments section below.
